Sea Sorrow marca a estreia de Vanessa Redgrave na realização, e é uma meditação muito pessoal sobre a actual crise dos refugiados, através do olhar e da voz de activistas e crianças, misturando passado e presente, documentário e drama, numa reflexão sobre a importância dos direitos humanos.
